Alice in Wonderland - I Think

Alice in Wonderland - I Think

Check out this video/book. It is Alice in Wonderland, but it scares the heck out of me!

The video came to my attention by ArtJokey in Romania a few weeks ago:

  1. I can see the artiste factor in this book. However, I wouldn't want to give that to a child. I know that it would have scared me when I was at an that pop-up books were appealing. It weirded me out now and I am an adult... so, I definitely wouldn't be giving it to a kid.

  2. hmm I played the video twice... Costco had a pop up version of this and I gave it to both my daughters.. Did I miss seeing something disturbing? or is it the pop up factor? I played it twice since I was multi tasking...

  3. Did u happen to see Return to Oz? now that was scary... I am sure there is a youtube of it..The 'wheelers' were the scary ones who chased the cowardly lion... I think we may be one of the few who own a copy of it... My girls saw it and they weren't traumatized... tho I was...

  5. KBF: Isn't it amazing how often that happens? Our kids are fine, but we freak out!

  6. Some one went to a lot of effort to make that book and the pop up are very true to the story. I have just read the book.

Alice in wonderland is like reading a dream which at the end it kind of implies it was.

I like the little piece in the pop up that shows her going down the rabbit hole.

  7. Chibi: I agree the creator has talent. However, there is something about it that might keep me up at night. Could it be the music?

  9. And here I thought Alice in Wonderland couldn't get any creepier...

The rabbit hole was kind of cool though.

Hey, on that blog hop thing at Tessa's, first you post your entry (any time before December 4) then you go to Tessa's contest post (I'll be putting up an Out of My Box image link in my sidebar for easy access) and scroll down to the list of authors/stories at the bottom and click the words "Click here to Enter." Then you'll enter in the link to your post and your name and/or story title and that's it. You'll be on the list. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me (elson.nicki@gmail.com).
