Happy Mother’s Day! and Official Grandmother’s Day - 5/8/2011

happy

I just wanted to wish all the moms out there a very Happy Mother’s Day! I did not, however, want to neglect all the wonderful Grandmothers we are blessed with in 2011. They are not the Old Grannies of the past!

I heard 70 is the new 40. Modern grandmothers are biking, hiking, running, and swimming. They are walking, surfing, fishing, and sailing. They are canoeing, mountain climbing, dancing, and exercising - That is, those who are not too busy running their businesses.

Have a wonderful family day, ladies!

  5. Oh, thank you soooo much! I have so many flowers on my table today and I am a happy gal!

JJ, don't believe everything you read. I have an inside track and even though I can't disclose my sources, I feel very confident in my point of view.

  14. Thanks! I appreciate the sweet thought. So, what do you think, is 31 the new 21? Or, in the case of my daughter, 5 the new 27? Miriam@Meatless Meals For Meat Eaters

  15. Thanks for the Mama, Granny hi-five. I had the very best Mother's Day ever. A great touring Flamenco troupe gave a performance Sunday night in Helena. Extremely rare that Flamenco ever comes to Montana. For most of my students it was their first live Flamenco show.It gave me shivers to see their faces as they watched with wide-eyed wonderment, knowing that I had prepared the foundation for their enjoyment. I love my life.
