  2. KBF: I agree. It is amazing. I appreciate the focus required to achieve that result. We should all strive for that level of concentration in our lives. Balance is everything.

  7. Oh My Goodness JJ! That was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I am awe struck! Thanks for sharing this with us.
What this man achieved seems impossible and I guess therein lies the message. If the will to achieve something is strong enough one will find a way! Amazing!

  12. Judie: Thank you. A friend of mine sent it to me. BTW, are you okay with the dust storm?

  13. JJ, that dust storm, the most violent one in anyone's memory, was outside of Phoenix. We have been in a dust storm on I10 and it was very frightening.

Please tell your readers that when they encounter severe weather while driving, to pull off the roadway and TURN YOUR LIGHTS OFF. A car traveling behind you could begin following your lights, not realizing you are stopped, and could slam into you.

  14. Judie: Glad you're okay. Good advice.

  19. Galen: We all do it (except me, of course). It is very human. That's why we have friends, so we never internalize alone. You happen to be extremely focused and motivating.

  20. KB and Whitesnake: It's just like you two - balanced.

Hope all is well in NZ with the quake.

  21. That's quite a balancing act. Puts the whole work/life balance into perspective. I'm glad I watched it in fact, it's a statement about patience. Because behind the eight minutes of video footage that we watched, there were countless hours of practice and what must have been nearly infinite patience.

  22. Akseli: I agree. In fact, patience was the first thing I thought of when I saw the video.
