Think About It This Holiday Season

I was turned on to this video by my Australian friend Katherine at Katherine'sPlace - Pieces of Me! She is one of the most inspirational human beings I know, and I must share it with my followers during the Christmas season:

  10. Such a good reminder. I went to a retreat that talked about mindfulness and this was exactly the point. Experience each moment to the fullest. As writers it is so tempting to hang out in our heads...

  11. To quote Hart up there,I hang out in my head all too often and forget to enjoy things to the fullest. This was a brilliant video. :)

And you had me at Lost Generation up top. LOVE that time period and those writers.

I appreciate each day for what it is. I constantly look at my surroundings because as a visual artist and writer, it means the WORLD to me. Life is a gift... Beautifully said.

  15. I have seen this before, but I watched the whole thing again. How absolutely humbling. How can anyone watch this and not be on their knees, literally or figuratively, in gratitude? Love the little girl at the beginning. "Beautiful-er."

  19. Tuned down the TV to listen to your video, the horror that has happened in CT is being reported. I'm so glad to have found this video, this day, this hour, this horrific moment...

    Thank you!

    1. Yolanda Renee: Oh, I know. It is hard to even discuss. What a contrast between the video and the horror. I am always positive, but it is getting harder to identify reality these days.
